The Cliometric Society is a learned society, established in 1983, whose aim is to advance scholarship in the area of Cliometrics, emphasising both methodology and practice. The Society is a not-for-profit corporation and has its offices at the Economics department in the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The Society is affiliated to the International Economic History Association and has, with other learned societies, supported six World Congresses of Cliometrics.[1]
